Monique has been in the education field for over ten years. After receiving her Bachelors in Mass Communication and her Masters in Education, Monique decided to follow her passion for teaching young minds within the classroom setting. However, Monique has watched over the years as her coworkers and friends have fled the education field due to being overworked and not receiving much-needed emotional support. With the help of colleagues, interviewing current educators, and insight from clinical psychologists, Monique learned the most significant barriers facing teachers seeking mental health support and decided to take action. Moniques’ goal includes educating administration and educators alike about the importance of mental wellness while equipping educators with the necessary tools needed to function on the highest level as an educator
